Angola STM 2026

We are happy to announce we are planning a return short-term mission trip to Angola in August 2026!

“Michael has been a repeat short-term missionary with SIM to Lubango, Angola since 2011, joined by his wife Bethany more recently. Michael is a library technician and author who has assisted at the seminary library at ISTEL. He is also a certified English language teacher who leads ESL Bible studies. Bethany is an artist and graphic designer who plans to create a new mural or two. As well they hope to assist the CEML Hospital in developing a new inventory system.”

Bethany K. Hoskin

Bethany is an international artist, illustrator and designer with a focus on creating narrative portraits for the elite music industry. She paints mainly in acrylic with an expressive realist style in genres like portraiture, landscape and still life. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California and a Bachelor of Design degree in Visual Communications from the Alberta University of the Arts. Her paintings are in private collections in Canada and the United States.
